Itinerary:

🚙 5:30 AM – Meeting in Muscat (Burj Al Sahwa)
Early departure by 4x4 toward Jabal Akhdar.

🏔️ ~8:00 AM – Arrival & Start of Hike
Begin the traverse from Wadi Bani Habib, moving through terraces and abandoned village paths.

🥾 Morning – Plateau Traverse
Steady hiking across open mountain terrain with gradual elevation changes and wide valley views.

🌄 Midday – Wadi Qasha Cliffs
Reach the canyon edge with panoramic views into one of the largest wadis in the region. Break and rest.

🥾 Afternoon – Final Section
Continue along the plateau toward the exit point.

🚗 ~2:00–3:00 PM – End of Hike & Transfer
Vehicle transfer back to the starting point.

🚙 Return to Muscat

Important Notes:

Fitness Level: This is a continuous one-way mountain traverse (~16 km) with no shortcuts or exit points. Participants must be able to maintain a steady hiking pace for 6–7 hours.

Terrain & Route Character: The route starts from Wadi Bani Habib terraces and transitions into exposed plateau terrain leading to the cliffs of Wadi Qasha. Expect rocky paths, uneven footing, and long open sections.

Exposure & Views: Several sections run close to canyon edges with open views into Wadi Qasha. While not technical, уверенность на высоте и концентрация важны.

Water & Sun Exposure: The route is fully exposed with minimal shade after the village section. Carry достаточное количество воды — no refill points along the way.
