Day 1 – Descent Into the 7th Hole & Underground Camp

Depart Muscat in private 4x4 vehicles and travel toward the Selmah Plateau, crossing mountain landscapes and off-road tracks to reach the world-famous 7th Hole. After a safety briefing and gear preparation, begin a dramatic multi-stage abseil 120 m, 50 m, and 100 m - descending a total of 270 meters into one of Oman’s largest underground chambers. By early evening, reach the cavern floor and set up a surreal underground camp, lit by firelight and echoing with silence. A warm BBQ dinner marks the end of a truly extraordinary first day.

Day 2 – Underground Traverse & Exit Through Tahri Cave

Awaken to soft natural light filtering through a high shaft in the cave ceiling - a rare and unforgettable sight. After breakfast, begin a 7-8 hour traverse through fossil corridors, cathedral-like chambers, and rope-assisted sections, gradually making your way toward the Tahri Cave exit. Once back above ground, continue with a 4 km trek across rugged plateau terrain before meeting the 4x4 vehicles for the return journey to Muscat. Arrival around 9:00 PM concludes one of Oman’s most challenging and iconic vertical expeditions.
