This 7-day Salalah Khareef itinerary is designed for travelers seeking a refined and immersive journey through Oman’s green season, where waterfalls, mountain landscapes, and coastal horizons come together in a rare natural transformation.

Combining hiking, waterfalls exploration, scenic coastal drives, and optional adventure activities, this route reveals the most diverse and vibrant side of Dhofar.

From Wadi Darbat and Ain Athum waterfalls to Jabal Samhan mountain viewpoints and the remote beaches of Fazayah and Hasik, each day offers a distinct landscape and experience.

Day 1 – Ain Athum & Wadi Darbat: Waterfalls & First Immersion

Begin your Salalah Khareef tour with one of the region’s most iconic waterfalls at Ain Athum, where water cascades down lush green cliffs.

Continue to Wadi Darbat for panoramic viewpoints, a peaceful boat ride, and a guided hike toward the source of the wadi through misty landscapes.

Day 2 – Western Salalah Coast: Beaches, Blowholes & Hidden Springs

Explore the western coastline of Salalah with stops at Ayn Khor and a scenic hike at Ayn Ghaid.

Visit the abandoned ship viewpoint, relax at Mughsail Beach, and discover Marneef Cave and the powerful blowholes where the ocean meets the cliffs.

Day 3 – Jabal Shams Balcony Walk & Nizwa Souq

Drive along the dramatic Aqabat Hashir road with a stop at Gravity Hill before walking among the rare baobab trees.

Day 5 – Tawi Ateer & Taiq Cave: Depth, Echo & Exploration

Later, explore Mirbat’s coastline and visit the historic Taqah Castle.

Day 7 – Hasik Coastal Road & Wadi Sinaq: Final Perspective

Drive along the spectacular coastal road from Salalah to Hasik, one of the most scenic routes in Oman.

Stop at hidden lagoons and remote beaches before exploring Wadi Sinaq - a natural canyon with palm groves and an optional hike to a secluded beach.
