Itinerary:
🚙 6:00 AM - Pick-up from your location in Muscat Our experienced guides will pick you up from your location in Muscat. Enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive to Wadi Hatt in air-conditioned 4x4 vehicles, equipped for off-road adventures.
🎒 8:00 AM - Arrival at Wadi Hatt start point, gear up We arrive at the canyon’s starting point. After a safety briefing and equipment
distribution (helmets, harnesses, ropes), the group will gear up and prepare for the adventure.
🥾 8:30 AM - Start of the Canyoning Adventure The adventure begins with a short steep hike leading to the canyon entrance. You’ll descend into the gorge, navigating through the narrow walls, crystal-clear pools, and natural water slides. Along the way, you’ll experience:
· Rappelling: 7 drops, the longest one is around 25m
· Swimming through cool pools
· Sliding down natural rock slides
· Jumping off small cliffs ranging from 1 to 2 meters
🍽️ 11:30 AM - Midpoint Break We pause at a picturesque spot for a well-deserved break. Enjoy light snacks and hydration while soaking in the beauty of the canyon.
🌊 12:00 PM - Continuation of the Canyoning Adventure The second half of the adventure includes gentle sections with shallow pools, narrow corridors, and exciting drops inside a cave. Our guides will assist you every step of the way to ensure safety and fun.
🏔️ 2:00 PM - End of Canyoning Adventure The canyoning journey concludes with a short hike back to the vehicles. Change into dry clothes and relax as we prepare for the return trip.
🍽️ 2:30 PM - Lunch at a Local Restaurant Enjoy a delicious lunch at a nearby restaurant, featuring traditional Omani dishes and refreshments.
🏙️ 3:30 PM - Departure for Muscat We begin our drive back to Muscat, reflecting on the day’s adventures and sharing stories with fellow participants.
🚙 5:30 PM - Drop-off at your location in Muscat Arrive back at your hotel in Muscat, marking the end of an unforgettable day at Snake Canyon.
Important Notes:
✔ Participants should not have a strong fear of heights, as some sections involve rappelling and jumps into water pools.
✔ Even though life jackets will be provided, basic swimming skills are required, as the route includes swimming through pools.
